I was invited to give a guest lecture at John Cabot University in Rome, organised by Professor Alessandro Feri, my professor from the Postgraduate in Festivals & Events (Edinburgh, 2020).
I focused on three integrated campaigns I led with my teams, and I intentionally avoided turning the session into a "glossy highlights"; Instead my purpose was to show the chaotic, energising day-to‑day: how we turn challenges into opportunities, how teams adapt and how we move across tools in order to deliver the full campaign ecosystem. While preparing for my first guest lecture, I looked for the simplest way to explain how I work…the principles that guide my decisions and the soft skills behind them. I introduced my “balance act”, my mantra I use to follow on project.
